C. David Joyner, Esq.

Mr. Joyner opened his own practice following graduation from law school in Blackshear, (Pierce County) Georgia.       Being a native of Pierce County, Mr. Joyner saw his trial practice quickly grow to become one of the larger trial practices in the Waycross Judicial Circuit.     While enjoying what many considered a general trial practice, Mr. Joyner had the privilege of being exposed to literally every type of case one can imagine.    This broad breadth of experience has benefitted his clients for many years up to the present time.
While in private practice in Pierce County, Georgia, Mr. Joyner was honored to be appointed as Juvenile Judge for Pierce County.     Mr. Joyner proudly served in this capacity for several years where he heard cases involving Juvenile Delinquency and deprivation cases brought by the State of Georgia.     During his tenure as Juvenile Judge, Mr. Joyner chaired the Truancy Review Panel for Pierce County and founded the “Star” program in the Pierce County Middle School which benefitted many troubled children.
After practicing in the Waycross Circuit for ten (10) years, Mr. Joyner had an opportunity to relocate his practice to Gwinnett County in 2001.    Although Mr. Joyner was initially reluctant to leave his home town and those who had helped him build his practice along the way, including many loyal clients, he determined the experience gained while being a solo practitioner in his beloved hometown of Blackshear could also benefit others in Gwinnett and the surrounding counties.   Since relocating, Mr. Joyner has successfully handled thousands of cases, not only in Gwinnett County and the Metro Atlanta area, but also in almost every Judicial Circuit in the state of Georgia.   Mr. Joyner has also had the privilege of trying cases in several other states throughout the United States.
Even though Mr. Joyner relocated to a more populated area, he has maintained the same approach to the practice of law which was fostered while beginning his practice in the Waycross Judicial Circuit.    He and his staff believe it is important to show compassion for those who are enduring difficult times and are committed to demonstrating this on a daily basis.    This fact, along with the zealous representation clients have come to count on for an excess of 23 years, has led to close personal relationships with many clients Mr. Joyner and his staff have had the privilege to represent and serve.
